Technical Information

The DME travels with a full PA system, and is capable of running sound for the performance.
For venues that prefer to use their own in house PA system, the DME requires:

1 mic for kick drum
1-2 mic for drum overheads
1-2 mic for vibraphone
snake with space for 2 channel inserts for electric violin and electric guitar signal (both coming from DME's mixer)
2 direct boxes for drummer keyboard signal and sampler signal (both coming from DME's mixer)
DME handles all monitor mixing independently.

Set up and lighting

The DME requires no in-house lighting for performance.

The DME prefers not to set up on stages but rather in front of stages
so as not to obscure the audiences view of the film. The DME can set
up on a stage if no space is available in a pit or front or side aisle in the theatre.
